Arvind is an architect and urban designer with three years of hands-on design experience. Arvind brings to the table a unique blend of design solutions and visualization techniques from both of the planning and architecture worlds, excelling in site-design and planning. He is a skilled technician in 2D and 3D drafting and modeling, with an eye for design and the ability to work across disciplines.

Arvind is fascinated by how design influences human behaviour. He is passionate about designing spaces that foster connections between people and is particularly interested in creating spaces that foster intergenerational interaction and support older adults and persons affected by dementia. Through his Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Planning, and professional experience, Arvind has prepared plans, designed streetscapes and public spaces, and created vivid and detailed plans and 3d visualizations for communities and sites across broad geographies and scales. He has worked in Kenya, India, and Canada’s west coast, and joined the UPLAND team in 2020.
