Born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Selena is a Landscape Architect with an unwavering connection to salt air and rugged coastlines. Her role at UPLAND includes active participation in all project phases – from site inventory and analysis, to construction supervision and administration. Selena generates detailed site models, construction documentation, and interactive interpretive content to present to clients and stakeholders. She brings over a decade of multidisciplinary fine arts and design experience to inform her work.

Selena is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Landscape Architecture program and is a full member of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects. Her favourite projects involve native plantings that enhance pre-existing or historical plant communities, and properties that blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape with minimal environmental impact.
