King’s Wharf – Building E
UPLAND designed amenity courtyards, roof terraces, and a new streetscape for this large-scale development at King’s Wharf. At the time of writing, Development Agreement plans have been submitted and permit plans are currently being designed. The courtyard, which is above the underground parking, will provide amenity space for residents and hotel users and features green space for passive recreation, a natural play area, a dog run, a lawn for ball games, and an alfresco restaurant area. The roof designs include sedum green roofs and amenity terraces for private and restaurant use. The new streetscape includes placemaking features such as wide pavements, seating, street trees and planting, wayfinding, etc. that will create a vibrant environment for people to enjoy. The next stages of the project include the production of tender documents then construction review. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2021.
