Recreation Assets and Gap Analysis

Sep 2015

UPLAND with its partners Viridis worked on behalf of the Southeast Regional Service Commission (SERSC) in New Brunswick to lay the foundation for a new recreation master plan for the region. Funded by Tourism, Heritage and Culture, one of the main goals of this project is to map all the recreation assets in south-east New Brunswick.

In the process, our team collaborated with municipalities, recreation partners, community members and trail users to identify existing and potential recreational connections and trail linkages between the south-east communities and to establish the first cornerstone for a new long-term recreation plan for the region.
